My grandfater Ernst Gayde was born in Pinache, now I live in Böblingen about 30km from Pinache.
I have a book called "Perouser Familien" (Perouser families) where all Waldenser and others from this village from 1699 until now are in. As in the eraly years the Waldenser only married other Waldenser there where a lot of exchange between the Waldersvillages (Serres, Pinache, Perouse, Kleinvillars, Großvillars, Neuhengstett)
In 1803 a Jean Jaques Gayde married a Jeanne Marie Rouchon from Pinache (see my Database http://www.familie-gayde.de )

And I recommend the book from Theo Kiefner "Die Waldenser auf ihrem Weg aus dem Val Cluson durch die Schweiz nach Deutschland 1532 - 1820/30 - Vol 3" if there is an english translation of this book availible. In this book a lot of sources are quoted and all of the german Waldenser-villages are discriben.
