All of these families including the Rouchon, Volle, and Gayde family are Waldensians (protestant refugees from the Piedmont region of Italy. They settled in Germany about 1700. Many of the church records of these towns have been filmed and are available through the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. I have worked with the records of the Waldensian colonies of Palmbach, Perouse, Neuhengstet and Kleinvillars. The families I have listed above are some of my ancestors from this area. My earliest Heritier is Pierre Heritier dit Job who was married to Jeanne Bouque and died in 1751. I have at least two Talmon lines. One ends with Etienne (b. abt 1683) son of Jaques Talmon. The other is Anne (b. Roure, Italy) dau of Pierre Talmon.
