I am a descendent of Valentine Brunner, born in Sandhofen, Baden, Germany. He and his older brother Jacob immigrated to the U.S. in the 1840's. Their father died in Baden, Germany. I know that their mother remarried a Mr. Herweh and I believe she had four sons with him. I think they lived in Iowa where Jacob lived. My ancestor Valentine Brunner lived with his family in Pomeroy, Meigs County, Ohio. I am descended from Valentine's son Heinrich (Henry).
