My great grandmother was Johanna Semler, born 1873, married to Stephanus Kroboth, the two of them born in Kleinmuerbisch. In that town I have a source for the record of one son, Julius, born 11 May 1899, emigrating in 1922.

Only a few weeks ago on a visit to Coplay for research, my aunt told me when "Grammy" Johanna died in 1965, it was because she was broken-hearted after the recent reunion she had just had with the son, John, whom she had left behind in Hungary all those years before. That's how I learned there is another Kroboth to look for in Austria. Grammy's other children were born in PA: Frank, Johanna C., Christine Rose, and Marie.
