Elisabeth did not list her home as Yugoslavia, she listed it a Hrusiva S.H.S. was the abbreviation for the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (Srbski, Hrvati and Slovenski). Later this kingdom, formed after WW I, would become Yugoslavia. SIMENEC is the correct Slovenian spelling Betty is a diminutive for Elisabeth
I find no such place in Slovenia but I do find a place called Hruševica
In any case you should post to the Slovenia board as both came from what is now Slovenia... Austria will NOT have their records they will be found in Slovenia.
Johan's ship manifest stated he was coming from Laibach, which is the German word for Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia
Again no place called Csnice but I find JAGER (modern day Slovenian spelling of JAEGER) in a place called ČRNUČE about 3 miles from Ljubljana.
http://www.itis.si/iskanjeI would highly recommend joining the Slovenian Genealogy Facebook group which is very active and has members who live in Slovenia
