Hi samponton 1

I see you have been searching for sometime now... and have even had help from one of the best... Zlatica

Many times the spelling was changed in America so the sound would be the same as it was in the immigrants "mother language".... I would not choose Martineck as a choice.... but who knows

Even though they likely arrived prior to the opening of the Ellis Island Immigrant Processing Station.... I would suggest that you try Stephen Morse One Step Search...

http://stevemorse.org/ellis2/ellisgold.html

1) Enter the name MOSEHENEK, and select "ethnicity" Austria and/or German
2) then choose Sounds Like
3) then do a select "is phonetically"

Just one of the examples this search came up with is Machinak... But even if you do find a ship manifest it will not give you much,.... names, ages, genders and country of origin

Have you searched any church records in the US? Often times baptism records for the children will give the parents place of origin.... or how about Naturalization records.... do you know if any of those who immigrated became US Citizens?
