When I said I don't know where to start, I literally meant I don't even know what to ask. (I know Austrians learn English, as most do.) But asking a specific question requires information like dates, family names, marriages, and so on. I have very little information. In addition, there are numerous ways to contact the diocese; which to start with? I hesitate so much for fear of offending.
