What a wonderful journey on your blog. Bravo! The one area you may want to add are sources. You could generalize about what films you are viewing and what books you've found, etc. That's the one thing that intrigues us Caribbean researchers. There is a Google book for download (if you are in the US)that contains records from family bibles collected by the Colonial Dames. It contains a transcription by Maria Van Beverhoudt (1752-1791). If you haven't already found this, it is at http://tinyurl.com/63kuxhr.

This makes a good example that one can input a surname into Google Books and come up with fascinating results.

Also, in the Dansk Demografisk Database, there is a John Wood Beverhoudt, 16, a student, living in Copenhaven.
