Dear Tim,
I am going to keep the documents you've attached with thanks because these individuals may come up in my family tree.
I am still hoping, however, that you might have my great gran's details. The problem though is that I am uncertain as to the accuracies of the names that I am giving you because we may know them by one name only to learn that their official name was something different (why ever did they do that?).
Victoria aka Christiana/Christina Cudjoe was born circa 1872 to Alexander and Nan Cudjoe. I am not certain whether Nan is a name or a title/nickname.
Victoria definitely gave birth to a girl named Elee about 1894. She might have had a son named Peter sometime afterwards. I have no reason to believe that she was actively living with anyone and she remained unmarried when she continued to live in Carriacou.
She migrated to Trinidad in order to marry my great grandfather in 1904/5 and lived there until her death in 1932. And that's all I know about her.
As for Alexander Cudjoe, my late grandmother said that he had told her when she went over to see her family there that he was not a lucky man because he only had daughters. So if you do come across this unfortunate soul (smile) in your research, could you let me know. The only other child's name I have for Alexander and Nan is Queen. Again, I don't know if that's her real name or not. I hope that thes clues are helpful to you because they are all I have to go on. Thank you so much for all your help. It is so much appreciated.
Joanne
