I am researching my great-grandfather's family roots. His name was Eugene Joseph Lucien GEDERON (poss. born abt. 1846 - died 1916.)
Some family members say that they have always understood that he came from Dominica. I recently had information that suggests that he might have been the son or possibly a relative of a Philippe GEDERON who migrated with his wife and three children to Trinidad sometime between 1880 - 1895.
I am hoping that someone on this board had come across the name GEDERON in their research or if they know of any Gederons at all. Plese post a response if you know anything at all as any lead may be helpful. Thanks.
