John Grant or Wright married Janet Sutherland.
They had Donald, born 9 October 1790 at Ascholbeg, Clyne according to the Old Parish Records. This is near Brora. This appears to be the only Donald born around this time in this area.
John and Janet also had Christy, born 17 July 1801; John, born 28 November 1806 and another John, born 4 October 1810.
