Janis, George Mackay of Skerry, born circa 1765 died 27 Jan 1840, son of angus Mackay and his wife Isabella. Angus Mackay died in Sutherland around 1818. Isabella (1746-1829) went to Canada in 1829 with her son George. Janet Gordon, wife of George Mackay is the daughter of William Gordon and Bessie Munro of Langdale.
