My great x 4 grandparents William Hunter & Margaret, formerly McGrigor, were married in Middle church Paisley on 1st November 1801. Their children that I know of are Robert 1802, William 1804, Margaret (1807-1871, married John Robertson) and James born 4th January 1810, all were born in Abbey Paisley, except the youngest child that I have found - Ann who was born in 1819 in Cumbraes Bute, which was surprising, the birth on the IGI gives both parents names, so it's highly likely to be correct.
I think that William senior's parents were William and Janet, formerly Keir.
