Thanks, I did find the OPR for the marriage and found that David Murray and where he was farming. What I am trying to determine is who are John Durham's parents. The OPR listed Isobel's (Isabella we have seen it both ways in documents about the family) father but not the parents for John.
There are several candidates and we are trying to find other members of this family and where John came from.
We know John and Isobel had 4 chldren two of which went into the bookbinding and printing / stationer industry.
One, of their sons became a Justice of the Peace for Edinburgh sometime after 1861. But I appreciate you looking that up for us! If you come across something else, please let me know.
