Several vague details, but absolutely no proof of anything. First, he converted to Quaker and they kept accurate and detailed records. He is stated to have been born in Invernessshire but no parents named. I would think his parents would be named on some document unless he was a bastard son. There have been some stories handed down for generations that his Scottish ancestry included a Fraser who was known to have been hanged, also that he was married multiple times plus was known for his many women. I have recently made contact with another ancestor of George Thomas on Ancestry, who may have more information so I will get in touch with her again. I am currently researching him so will stay in touch, and thank you for your help.
