I found your post on the web concerning the MacDonald family of Detour Michigan. Although not a direct descendant of Angus, my GGgrandfater was his brother. According to my records, Angus was married to Mary Ann Gilles. The Gilles family and the MacDonald family had farms in Teeswater Ontario before Angus moved his family to Detour. Addtinally, his brother James MacDonald married another local farm family girl, Jane Crowe, and they too moved to Detour.
