With reference to your message re above James. I have McLeod interests in this area in that I have a James McLeod christened Cloud, at Spittal united Presbyterian in 1780 son of Andrew and Agnes. I have noted your James and Isabella and was trying to establish some link as naming patterns seem similar. My James married Margaret Kyle and had Elizabeth (1802), Agnes (1804), Andrew (1807), Thomas (1810), Margery (1813) and William (1814). The men were coal miners.
