I think you will find it quite difficult to find any relations living to day of Donald Armit.

There are very few names Armit, in Ayrshire.

It looks like Donald Armit, married 1917. in Kilmarnock, Ayr. and died there in 1986, aged 95 years.

His sister Jane Armit, does not appear to have married, and died 1957. aged 67 years, Crookedholm, Ayr.

Your Adam Armit, married Jane McGhee, 1887. Crookedholm, Ayr. also Jane surname comes up sometimes McGee.

This Jane Armit McGee, died aged 44 years, 1913. in Kilmarnock, Ayr.

Kilmarnock, Hurlford, and Crookedholm, are all within a few miles of each other.

Adam Armit, and his parents were living for a short period of time in Hurlford, Ayr, just about the time Adam, and Jane were married, in fact his young sister Jane Armit, was born in Hurlford, in 1889.
