James McDonald married a "widow" McQueen in Argyll, Scotland, on Isle of Skye I was told, about 1734, they had four sons in Scotland, Hugh, John, Alexander, and Daniel, before emmigrating to North Carolina in 1774, aboard the sailing vessel "Baliol", along with some of the McKinnon and McQueen clans.
I am trying to determine the identity of this "widow" McQueen.
Any help would be appreciated.
