Thanks so much for those links, there was indeed an Elizabeth Fowler who is perhaps buried in the graveyard in Kintore. I say perhaps because her name is listed on the gravestone but there is no dates, as far as the data base is concerned.

If John Fowler is the father, it is possible that that Elizabeth Fowler would be old enough to be my 4th great grandmother. Assuming she was in the range of 10 to 15 when John Fowler died, she could be the one I am seeking. I wonder if the database is from the actual gravestone or if it is from a written log in the church.
