Hello again,
Then you are Definitely part of our MOODY Ydna family tree! While this is not my direct Moody line (I can't find the branch my 5th grt. grandfather James MOODY came out of so far, all I know is he was born c1745 or thereabouts and that he came to America sometime before Jan. 13, 1774 when he married my 5th grt. grandmother on that date).
Anyway, we have tons of info detailed about your family line on the Moody board at GenForum. You have a couple of "cousins" who have posted there as well.
It was one of your cousins who lives over on the western side of Australia whose Ydna proved our linking. We all share the same HaploType which means we all share a Common MOODY (Moodie/Mudie) Ancestor somewhere back in time.
Do you have any stories to tell of your Moody family, has anyone ever said to you which branch they came from in Scotland etc.? We are trying to determine that now.
Thanks for anything you might be able to glean further.
Take care cousin.
