Hi
I am looking for any information on my ancestor Thomas Ford born ca 1810 County Fermanagh, who was a journeyman tailor when charged under the Whiteboy Act in 1832 in County Down, and transported to the Colony of New South Wales in Australia as a convict. His native place was given as Fermanagh in his convict documents. His father's name was recorded as Thomas Ford, farmer on his death certificate in NSW in 1886. He was a Catholic.
Any information on e.g. where any Forde / Ford families were living in Fermanagh in the early 1800s would be most gratefully received.
