I am seeking information on William Grant, born 1850 (probably in Tipperary)to Stephen Grant & Mary Ann (nee Piper.

He became postmaster at Clontarf, Dublin and had five sons. He died in 1907 or 1908, and this is confirmed by his absence from the 1911 Dublin census. I have the professions of these sons at this date from family information.

The sons were Stephen, Charles, James, Robert and William.

I believe that William or Stephen worked at Dockerells Wallpaper Co in Dublin. And that Stephen had two sons, Sidney (b.1934) a garage proprietor living in Sutton, Surrey in 1976, and Stephen also living in Surrey.
