Joseph Thom was born in Ireland according to information on his Head Stone where he is buried in Indiana. He had a brother who came to the States with him in l773. Joe was born in 1743. I have no information on what happened to his brother and assumed he was killed in the Revolutionary War in which Joseph participated. After war he lived in Pennsylvania, married Elizabeth Craig, had ten children who moved ever westward. Our generation made it to California and I am started back eastward as I have lived in Nevada since 1957. Maybe there is a connection there but I am unable to make it. You might have the clue we need.
