I have none of those names in my tree I am afraid. My family flip-flopped between Sullivan and O'Sullivan mostly around whether they were Catholic or Protestant until Daniel Sullivan married Ellen Moriarty who was a fearsome woman and changed the name to O'Sullivan for good to distance themselves from the Protestant side.

As to Castletown Beare and Beare Island - yes... this area is very much a case of it being very hard not to be related to a Sullivan or O'Sullivan! Cannot find any more info For my john Sullivanand may need a trip to Ireland to progress it. Hmmmm.
