I have come across the above people! My great aunt wrote information out on her family tree - I have been trying to trace it - without much sucess!

Her notes say that Jean Lundia McKay was born in Canton, N.Y. I do not have a date. Jean's younger sister married ? Thomson born in Ontario Canada on the Hale/Hall farm.

Janet and John Taleford had only one child. Her three oldest children are Mrs. Wylie, Mrs. Barclay and Mrs. Rose and they were born in Ferniehurst Castle. Cpt John Taleford was killed at Waterloo and was a member of Scots Grey Regiment.

Jane Riddel was the daughter of William Riddell and Lady Jane Eliot. Lady Jane Eliot was the daughter of Andrew Eliot.
