Wonder if anyone can help with a brick wall I seem to have hit ? On my wife's side I have Annie Elizabeth Roebuck b.1905 in Rotherham to parents Ernest Roebuck and Annie Elizabeth Dunstan. She appears in the 1911 census but I can't find a marriage or death for her. I know she had an illegitimate son Ernest b. 1923 who was later raised by his uncle, but she seems to have disappeared soon after his birth. Anecdotal evidence from within the family suggests she may have gone to London and was killed during the blitz, (this may have been another city blitz), but I can find no proof of it. Can anyone help ??
