I have traced by Robinson family back to Topcliffe in North Yorkshire. My Great-Great-Great Grandfather was John Robinson (born 1814) who married Mary Harrison. Their fourth son, George Charles, was my Great-Great Grandfather.

He married Eliza "Fanny" Slater in 1866 (approx) and they moved to Leeds

George Charles Robinson left the family home in late 1880s / early 1890s, leaving Fanny a pauper with her children. Fanny was living on Ouzlewell Green in 1891; her son Fred was my Great-Grandfather and married Rhoda Ashton(buried in Carlton Cemetary) and the Robinson family lived hdere until 1958

Does anyone knosw of the name of George Charles Robinson or where he went?
