I am researching the Maternal side of the family all seem to come from Rotherham, in 1846 my grandfather Samuel Shillitto was born in Wellgate, married twice, Sarah Hanna Dent and then my Grandmother Eliza Richardson, he worked on the Railways. His father Jonathan (1806) also came from there. he worked at the Brass Works and he was married to Elizabeth Raybould. Does any of this tie in with your family?
