There is an article in the Devises and Wiltshire Gazette 11 October 1883.The right of Capital Burgesses of Malmesbury to their right to Votes, it is a large article and mentions the 11 Capital Burgesses who were on the Parliamentary list of the county, it explains a lot about them, and the land they had your Richard is mentioned, I am not sure if i could copy and past it to the board is rather large
