My great-grandmother, Annie Vivanti, an internationally-acclaimed authoress who wrote mainly in Italian, but also in English, from the late 19th century to the 1930s, was born in Park House, Norwood in 1866. Does anyone know if the house still exists, and in which road it is/was located? She was one of 7 children, the offspring of political refugee Anselmo Vivanti and German writer Annie Lindau. The family only lived in Norwood for a few years.
