Jermyn Patrick's daughter Mary was adopted by John Ferguson, who was married to Magdalene Johnson (daughter of Sir Wm Johnson & Molly Brant). Ferguson had no children of his own. Mary married John Kyte. John Ferguson gave her 200 acres on Ferguson's Point, Wolfe Island.
