To find children of someone, go on the BMD indexes.

Type in 'Bishop' under surname and 'Carter' under parents - mother's surname.

Put a date range in.

It will come up with all the Bishops who's mothers maiden name was Carter- I did find one in Hendon, and you said that was where Dulcie was born.

But there are many other Bishops with mother's maiden name Carter in the London/Middlesex area.
