CARTER - Silversmiths of Bethnal Green

I am trying to find any information on James(1) CARTER, silversmith and his family. His wife was Hannah (surname unknown). Their known children were James(2) (b1801), Hannah (b1803), Edward William (b1810) and Hannah (b1813). Both James jnr and Edward became silversmiths in the East End.

James married Jane HARRISON in 1825 in St George in the East and had (known) children of James(3) (b1828) and John (b1830). I have found James with sons James and John in Temple Street, Bethnal Green in 1841 census. Jane was not mentioned. According to The Goldsmiths' Company James(2) was living in Hackney Road in 1850 but I can't find him in 1851 census nor narrow down a death for him.

James(3) became a Church of England Minister and immigrated to NSW where he died in 1909. I don't know what became of John.

Edward married Frances Eliza (Eliza) HARRISON in 1833 in Newgate and had (known) children of Edward John (b1834) and Eliza Jane (b1844). I have found Edward with Eliza and son Edward living in Ivy Lane, Shoreditch in 1841 census.

I would appreciate any help or information about this family.

Many thanks,
