Trying to pin down the right William Stinson - 1770's

Surnames: Stinson Hewes
Hi All,

I'm trying to pin down the correct William Stinson in my family tree. He is my GGGGG grandfather. He had a son (Thomas) born in 1804 (in Coleorton, or close by). I have a marriage record in 1800 of a William Stinson and Ann Hewes. Thomas's Xning record shows his parent as William and Ann Stinson.

There is a William Stinson Xning record in 1773 - parents Joseph and Margaret Stinson (nee Potter). There is also a Joseph and Elizabeth Stinson who had a son, William, around the same time. I have wills for both Josephs, and unbelievably they died 2 years apart, 2 miles apart, and each had sons called William, Thomas, Joseph and John!

If anyone has any extra clues as to the William I'm looking for, or Ann Hewes, I'd be very grateful. I'm happy to share what information I have in return.

Cheers, Mark.
