Dear Pan i am so sorry it is Bridge Lane. I'm on a bit of a detox at the moment and I think it has addled my brain.
14 Bridge St is My grt grand father William and his new wife Sarah. They married in Dec 1890. At no 11 is her family. I presume that no. 36 was her uncle. On Williams marriage certificate it gives his place of residence as 17 Bridge Lane. I was hoping that his father Francis Parkinson (Slater and plasterer aged42) would be there then I could see his family.
When William Parkinson was born in 1872 his mother Elizabeth Cornthwaite was Francis' wife. By 1881 his wife was Emma ( unless I have misread information) By 1901 his wife was Alice. I hope he had them all insured! Anyway I am most grateful for your help.
I hope you are keeping well Many thanks Debbie
