Hi Carolyn,

I have an image of a document dated March 2, 1835 upon which James RIMMER, age 21, a Farmer in Scaribrick has proclaimed the intention of marrying Alice COUPER, age 19.

This family appears on the 1841 Census HO107/515/10 f38 p6. James (the son) is first-born and age 6, allegedly born in 1835.
This appears on the lan-opc site, but may not be the correct James.
