The National Vigilance Association was formed in Aug 1885 'for the enforcement and improvement of the laws for the repression of criminal vice and public immorality'. The archive is held by the Women's Library at London Metropolitan University and consists of minutes of the British Vigilance Association (BVA), annual reports, and publications.
