Any info. or advise would be appreciated, or a look-up for records and ancestors of
John Schofield (Scofield) b. Abt 1800 m. Abt 1830 to Mary Ann Pellington b.Abt 1810 who had a son John Schofield baptized in Manchester Catheral in 1837- 1838.
Due to the local church records of their son's marriage in Canada were difficult to read Mary Ann's family name. it could be spelt Bellington or Pelkington or even Pendleton. We know her son,John, was age 13, cabinboy,when he was shipwrecked off the Magdaleine Island in May 1851 ( ship-'The Miracle' from Liverpool,Master Elliott) Thanks in advance,Carol cgregoire@sprint.ca
