Yes that is Thomas Slade's parents..my ancestors.

On the marriage record for Thomas & Sarah it says that she was a 'Spinster of the Parish'..so I assume she was living there, but of course I have no idea how long for!

I have had a look for Sarah Cooper's baptism record..but there are so many to choose from!

The childrens names names of Joseph, Thomas & Eliza crop up right through the Slade family. Alfred is the first known one and Emma only crops up again as Alfreds Wife's middle name. Richard goes all the way through the Slades right up to my Dad's brother. Maybe Sarah Cooper's father or brother was an Alfred....cluthing at straws here of course! Oh Joseph 's middle name was Walter...maybe that's some clue...who knows!
