Offence against the Education Act - George Alfred Cooper was summoned for not sending his boy to school. - Mr Wigley stated that the parent had been warned several times about the boy. On different occasions the boy would be found at home when he should be at school.- The mother of the boy stated that he was "never well" and that he had been taken to two doctors this week.- The Bench informed defendant that she must obtain a medical certificate. She would be fined 5s.
