Hello, John, this is wonderful information, especially the marriage of James Gardener and Sarah Howell James. The Gardiner History website has all the information I have so laboriously been assembling. Thank you for sending this. You may have seen my posting saying I have a photo of James Gardiner on which is written, James Gardiner, Liverpool, 1854. So I do think the death date of 1837 is premature. I will try to contact the creator of the Gardiner History website. I will have to carefully compare what I have with what is on the website and see if I draw the same conclusions. Amazing discovery!
