I have found several people named James Gardiner on FreeBMD. I need to order a death record but cannot tell which one to order. Does anybody already have the death certificate for James Gardiner, b. 1780? There are at least four men with that name in Liverpool around 1850-1863 when I think he passed away. Another researcher has his wife as Sarah James, but I have not found proof for that. They were having children in Redbrook, Newland Parish, Gloucestershire 1804-1809. Then they are in Liverpool where he was a lay minister, a Methodist. More children were born in Liverpool 1816-1827. Would like to hear from others researching this family. Thank you.
