Not sure if this helps in any way,I found one Horatio Nelson Phillips baptizes 15/9/1809 at St James Bristol, parents Jacob William Phillips mother Maria Ann, so i had a look for a marriage for a Jacob William Phillips. I found a Jacob William Phillips marrying Patience Davis 23/1/1788 at St. James, Patience dies in 24/12/1800 and is buried at St Stephens, i wonder if Maria Ann could be his much younger second wife
