I wonder if i can ask a favour, i have been searching for a marriage between Samuel Britton and Ann Ponting, but it looks like the marriage was not registered. Is there any chance you can have a look for me at the record office. I have Samuel on the 1861 census living as a lodger with Ann and her widowed father Charles (Chas), at Marshfield Road, St Georges. Given that their first child was born in 1862 iam looking at that time frame.The lack of a marriage record has also meant that i cannot identify Samuels parents as there seems to be two or three families with a samuel born around about the same time. Iam not sure whether there was no marriage or if it just wasn't registered. Any help would be most appreciated.
