You may remember we corresponded a long time ago on the Bristol and Somerset List - re: the WATKINS family of Bristol. I've not done much on this line, but I have added some more useful information that you might recognise with respect to your own research. My ggg grandmother was Caroline Amelia WATKINS who married George HULIN at St George, Bristol on the 23 October 1817. From what I can gather her parents were Nathaniel Witts WATKINS and Elizabeth FRANCIS. According to the IGI Caroline Amelia WATKINS was baptised at Bristol, on the 18 January 1801. Although the entry list Nathaniel without the Witts middle name, and just gives mother's name as Elizabeth. Nathaniel Witts WATKINS was, according to the IGI, baptised at Tabernacle Penn Street - Calvinistic Methodist Church, Bristol on the 16 April 1779 - son of Nathaniel & Susan (sic) WATKINS. Nathaniel Witts WATKINS married Elizabeth FRANCIS at St James, Bristol in 1799. Nathaniel WATKINS snr., married Susannah WITTS in the parish of Bedminster on the 21 July 1777.
