John Pye of Falmouth babt 1682 at Creed and mayor of Falmouth in 1720.
He was burried on Creed in 1729 He married Susan (Collins?)daughter of Captain Thomas Atwell.

The Pye's married Atwells the Atwells to Mohegan Natives, A Pye married an Uncas (Sachem of the Mohegan) decendent and an Atwells decendent married the family of James Fenimore Cooper.
