From my memory at the moment ... I believe that the marriage certificate indicates that Catherine James is 28 at the time of her marriage.

I have old stuff from my grandmother indicating that her "mom" whom she originally told me was Catherine Ellen Hughes was born on June 24, 1889 and that Catherine's dad was James Hughes - no location for either.

I am just getting swamped and confused by all the possibilities and differing details :) and all this paper floating around on my desk.
