I do not have any connections with Wisbech or Houchens, but suggest your first step is to get the birth certificate of Stanley Maurice Houchen. With such an unusual name it shouldn't be too hard to find, particularly as you have the year of birth. The General Register Office (GRO) index is available at some libraries or online at www.1837online.co.uk. You can order certificates online through ww.gro.gov.uk .
The certificate will give the father's name & occupation & the mother's name & maiden name. This will mean that you should be able to find their marriage & also them & their families in the censuses (1901 & each 10 years back to 1841). And then you should be off and away!
