Just as a follow-up...on Canada 1921 Census(free to view) sons Frederick and William are living in Saskatchewan with their widowed father Edgar. They are described as farmers. Also located William's WWI draft papers @ Canada archives(also free online to view) and this is the same family
it says William is living in Rutland Sask. and born Langstone England. Next of kin is father Edgar who lives in Rutland Sask. Also found brother Frederick's enlistment papers state born Hampshire and gives father as Edgar Heather of Sask.
Also found a record of 24 year old Blanch Heather crossing into Detroit in 1922 her residence St. Thomas Ont. but she gives next of kin as brother Fred Heather of Rutland Sask. Can't find Kate - I presumed she married...
